Manchester singles… fancy swapping the dating apps for 11km of beautiful Yorkshire countryside and a few new faces? 👀 For our next Manchester-adjacent hike, we’re heading to Hebden Bridge for a moderate 11km adventure through woodland, riverside trails, open countryside and stunning views. Starting right in Hebden Bridge, we’ll follow the beautiful Hebden Water through the valley towards the historic Old Packhorse Bridge. The route winds through woodland and along old packhorse trails, with the remains of West Yorkshire’s industrial past dotted throughout the landscape. Then we’ll climb up onto the plateau, where you’ll be rewarded with big views across the surrounding countryside, before descending towards Colden Water and following the river back through the woodland to Hebden Bridge. 🦌 And keep your eyes peeled… This is a seriously wildlife-rich area, with deer and woodpeckers regularly spotted along the route. 🍂 autumn is approaching , prepare for something pretty special the woodland comes alive with vibrant oranges, reds and golds. It’s honestly a sight to behold. And the best bit?
