Delete Your Account
MeetMyPace Ltd — Data deletion request
You can delete your MeetMyPace account at any time. Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered. We erase your personal data, with a small number of exceptions we are required to keep — these are listed below.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — name, date of birth, photo, bio, location and preferences
- Your email address and phone number
- Your swipe history
- Your push notification tokens, so your phone stops receiving notifications
- Any blocks or reports you filed
What we keep, and why
- Ticket and payment records — kept for 6 years to meet UK company and tax record-keeping requirements. Your name and contact details are removed, so they are no longer linked to an identifiable person.
- Incident and accident reports you filed — kept for 6 years from the date of the incident, including your name and contact details. We need these to defend legal claims, and UK data protection law specifically allows us to keep them for that purpose. This is the one case where deleting your account does not remove your name.
- Messages you sent in a chat — these stay visible to the person you were talking to, shown as sent by a deleted user. That conversation is their record as much as yours. Your name, photo and profile are removed from it.
- A record that you deleted your account — the date, and a scrambled one-way version of your email address. This lets us confirm to you that your account was deleted, and when, if you ever ask. It contains nothing readable about you.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the MeetMyPace app:
- Open the MeetMyPace app
- Tap Profile (bottom-right tab)
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion
Your personal data is erased immediately. The records listed above are kept for the periods stated.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you no longer have access to the app, email us from the address associated with your account:

Include the email address on your account in the message. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days, in line with our obligations under UK GDPR.
