These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MeetMyPace mobile application (iOS and Android) and website (together, the "Service") operated by MeetMyPace Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using MeetMyPace, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MeetMyPace for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

Reproduce, modify, distribute, or transmit any content from MeetMyPace
Use MeetMyPace for any commercial purpose without written permission
Access MeetMyPace through any automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.)
Reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code or underlying algorithms
Remove or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices
Use MeetMyPace to harass, threaten, defame, or abuse other users

2. User Accounts

To use MeetMyPace, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
Create an account using valid information (your real name, email, date of birth, and phone number)
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a safety risk to other users.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use MeetMyPace to:

Impersonate any person or entity
Create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes
Post fake, misleading, or sexually explicit photos or content
Solicit or provide services of a sexual or adult nature
Engage in abuse, discrimination, or threats based on protected characteristics
Attempt to hack, access, or interfere with MeetMyPace systems
Collect personal data from other users without consent
Spam, phish, or send unsolicited commercial messages
Use MeetMyPace to facilitate illegal activity

Violations of this section may result in account termination and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

4. Event Tickets and Payments

Ticket Purchases

All ticket prices are listed in GBP and include applicable taxes
Ticket sales are final. Refunds are only issued if MeetMyPace cancels an event
If an event is cancelled, you will receive a refund or credit to your wallet, not a direct payment
Group tickets and discount codes cannot be refunded or transferred

Payment Processing

Payment is processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor
MeetMyPace does not store your card details
You authorize MeetMyPace to charge your payment method for the ticket price and any applicable fees
Fraudulent payments may be reported to law enforcement

Wallet Balance and Credits

Wallet credits are non-refundable and expire after 12 months of inactivity
Credits can only be used to purchase tickets and cannot be withdrawn as cash
If you delete your account, any unused wallet balance is forfeited

5. Event Hosting

If you create or host an event on MeetMyPace:

You are responsible for all information you provide (title, description, date, location, capacity)
You agree to comply with all local laws regarding the event
You must provide accurate dates, times, and locations
You are liable for any injuries or damages that occur at your event
You may not discriminate against attendees based on protected characteristics
You agree to communicate professionally with attendees
MeetMyPace acts only as a ticketing platform and is not responsible for event execution or attendee conduct

6. User-Generated Content

By uploading photos, writing messages, or posting profile information to MeetMyPace, you grant MeetMyPace a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

Display your content on the Service (to other users and for operational purposes)
Analyze your content to detect abuse, fraud, and policy violations
Store and back up your content for service reliability

You retain ownership of your content and may delete it at any time. Deletion will remove it from the live Service but may not affect copies in backups (which are deleted after 30 days).

You warrant that:

You own or have rights to all content you upload
Your content does not infringe any third-party rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, etc.)
Your content is not defamatory, obscene, or violates these Terms

7. Matching and Messaging

Matching

MeetMyPace uses an algorithm to suggest matches based on your location, interests, and stated preferences
Matches require mutual interest (swiping "yes" on both sides) to communicate
Unmatching or blocking a user is instantaneous and prevents further contact

Messaging

Messages are private between matched users unless reported to MeetMyPace
Messages are encrypted at rest but may be monitored for safety violations
You agree not to send unsolicited commercial messages, harassment, or content violating these Terms
MeetMyPace reserves the right to remove users who misuse the messaging system

8. Limitation of Liability

MeetMyPace is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

MeetMyPace disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
MeetMyPace is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data
MeetMyPace's total liability to you for any claim is limited to £100 or the amount you paid MeetMyPace in the past 12 months, whichever is lower
MeetMyPace is not responsible for user conduct, injuries at events, or disputes between users
MeetMyPace is not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MeetMyPace and its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of MeetMyPace
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any law or third-party rights
Content you upload or transmit
Any event you host or attend

10. Service Availability

MeetMyPace does not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted service. We may:

Perform maintenance that temporarily disables the Service
Remove content that violates these Terms
Restrict or disable accounts that engage in prohibited conduct
Modify features or functionality at any time

We will attempt to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance but do not guarantee such notice.

11. Intellectual Property

MeetMyPace, including its name, logo, graphics, interface, and underlying code, is owned by MeetMyPace Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use MeetMyPace's intellectual property without written permission.

12. Third-Party Links

MeetMyPace may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. Your use of third-party sites is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of MeetMyPace shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to you by email or in-app notification, and your continued use of MeetMyPace constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Your continued use of MeetMyPace after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
